The BarWe are the only genuine freehouse in the area. We are therefore not ‘tied’ to any brewery and we can offer a genuinely different selection of real ales from local and national brewers along with a good selection of lagers and world wines.The bar itself is an open plan area with plenty of space to enjoy a drink or a meal. The welcoming and cosy ambience is enhanced by wooden beams which originally came from the old fruit market in Plymouth and the mixture of slate and wood floors adds to its appeal. There is a raised stage area in the bar where you can hear local bands perform different varieties of music at the weekends during the winter months. Our bar is open 11.30 am to 11.00 pm Monday to Saturday and 12 noon to 10.30 pm Sunday. If you like real cask ales then why not try the ‘Atlantic Ale trail’? Jump on the train at Par Station and visit many pubs along this picturesque train ride. |
